Became obsessed with David Bowie
-
I forget how this happened too! But I remember starting with his first (well, second, but everyone ignores his real first album) and then working my way through his discography for a while, and then he died! And I was in a lecture and the lecturer was like βoh yeah, sorry Iβm feeling a bit sad today, David Bowie diedβ and I was so gutted!!! And Iβd been listening to Blackstar for 2 days, it had only been out for two days and then he died!!! Wtf!! What an incredible artist

I went through his albums in order for a while:
-
David Bowie - 1969
-
The Man Who Sold the World - 1970
-
Hunky Dory - 1971
-
The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - 1972
-
Aladdin Sane - 1973
-
Diamond Dogs - 1974
-
Young Americans - 1975
-
Station to Station - 1976
-
Low - 1977
-
βHeroesβ - 1977
-
Got kinda burnt out at this point and barely listened to these:
- Lodger - 1979
- Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps) - 1980
-
THEN FUCKING BLACKSTAR CAME OUT, AND I LOVED IT, AND THEN 2 DAYS LATER HE DIED! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

π I should listen to his late-career albums at some point
