- After a 2-week co-thinking sprint
1 - what were you stuck in?
- I’ve been struggling with my brand philosophy and that’s the main thing that’s held me back
- Haven’t been able to confidently make videos and try out other formats because I’ve just been really stuck on what I actually stand for and why I’m doing what I’m doing - I haven’t been very clear about my mission and purpose
- What stands out to me re: working with you is how quickly we got past that - I think it was our first session that the philosophy came through pretty quickly
- So that was something I couldn't crack on my own, and I didn't realise how close I was to it. I didn't think it'd be that simple
2 - Feeling
- I feel more sturdy, like “oh yeah I stand for something, and I do feel very passionate about what I stand for” - it’s like, finding my backbone again
- And I feel really reassured by the way you work, your Virgo-ness1 in the way you work, really organised in ways that I just am not, and I have a lot of trust in that. The way you take notes, how you’re taking in everything I'm saying, trying to understand things from my perspective. It’s really reassuring, I have a lot of confidence that we’ll be able to get to a place where I feel satisfied. Like, it feels like…
- There’s continuity, and I have a lot of trust that you’re, like I'm not abandoning myself in any of this, like you're trying to convince me of your way or something. That feels really important
What was it costing you — in time, energy, or just headspace — to stay stuck on it?
- I’d been stuck for 3 years! I think what initially started off as “ok, I guess I’m a little burnt out, I’ll give myself a break” - it felt light at the beginning. But when I couldn’t get unstuck, it became this snowball that got bigger and bigger and more unmanagable and gave me a reason to doubt myself. And I guess I’d been looking for support but couldn’t find it. A lot of people who are like “you should do it my way!”, “you should do it like this!”, and I haven’t been able to find someone who could see it from my perspective or in a way that felt in alignment for me
